The culmination of Gnarly’s efforts is a relaxed, mid-tempo set: just at home in a thumping club as it is on your car speakers (perfect for midnight summer drives). And what begins as a nostalgic, sparse production eventually falls away into Gnarly’s signature funk feel.
While this particular set is more groove than grit (heavy bass drops are absent here), it does have dissonant transitions that clash on occasion. But this track offers a nice surprise.
