GTA & Henrix & Digital Lab - Hit It! (Steve Angello Size In The Park)
Starting off this week with a SUPER exclusive from the heavyweights over at Size Records. The massive collabo release from GTA, Henrix & Digital Lab ‘Hit It!’. This record has been a go to crowd killer for all the big names lately, and is sure to be topping the Beatport charts in the coming weeks as well. Luckily for you guys thou, you wont have to wait that long, because Ive gotten my hands on an edit by big daddy Angello himself, that he made for his infamous ‘Size in the Parks’ concerts. This one has main stage written all over it.
Dillon Francis - Bootleg Fireworks (THE REBIRTH)
Another Electric Squeeze premiere right here (Ive been working hard for you guys!). The second coming of Dill’s breakout REBIRTH trap edits. This time around its a sequel to his last release Bootleg Fireworks, given every DJ a switch up for all the white girls that already know the original. DJ AWARENESS. Anyways, this one isnt due to drop on his website until tomorrow night so…..you didnt get this from me.
The Hood Internet can do no wrong
Vengaboys - We Like to Party (Protohype VIP)
I dont know about you guys, but one of my favorite commercials as a kid was the one with the old bald Six Flag’s dude runnin around the park dancin to the Vengaboys. So when I heard Protohype’s sinister twenty thirteen re rub on the track this past weekend in ETC!ETC!’s 1Xtra Mix I had to get my hands on it. Give it a go.
Mercury - Man (Original Mix)
My favorite thing about deep house these days is its one of the most unpredictable genres out there. Not only because it skips the standard build up and breakdown and build up, but also because you never really know if the drop is gonna be making love to sub woofer or whistling out a catchy melody. Ill let you find out which one it is in this case (around the 2 minute mark)
This the new Harlem Shake for everyone thats already sick of the Harlem Shake.
Walter Murphy - A Fifth Of Beethoven (Flight Facilities Edit)
I still cant put my finger on what exactly I should expect from a Flight Facilities record, but nevertheless, they rarely disappoint and this time is no different. Delivering a dope disco infused deep house remix on Walter Murphy’s classic A Fifth of Beethoven
Bonobo - Cirrus (Dont You Want Me) (Cocolino Edit)
Just a little edit to give you an excuse to bob your head to an already incredible record.
MIX
So the obvious choice for this week would be Mat Zo’s top notch essential mix, but i figured that if your reading this blog, your not lookin for what everyone else is already bumping. So instead, heres an hour of simple moods and tough grooves from Shadow Child.
