What’s good kids, it’s another week and another post, and this week my love for drum & bass has been replaced with a need for speed. It’s been a big week for EDM, with Chris Brown of all people teaming up with Afrojack(David Guetta must have been booked). We’ve noticed a trend of more radio-themed artists going for a progressive sound lately, and i’m excited and a little scared of where this will take EDM in the next few years. But without further ado, lets get started.

I’m starting off with this Jeremy Olander track. Released from Eric Prydz’s label, im really impressed with the rhythm in this.

I’ve heard this Jidax track on a bunch of sets lately, and hasn’t really get old.

Armin van Buuren & Markus Schulz’s “The Expedition” has just gotten a remix ep released, but all it did for me was highlight the original’s beauty.

Back on the slow tip, Kaytranada has been killing it. his latest masterclass includes the wistful JMSN.

Finally, Chris Brown has (for once) earned my plaudits with this Afrojack aided song. Destined for the radio, he must have been taking tips from Rihanna. Her collabs with EDM artists have been massive in the mainstream.
