About Us / Authors

We started Electric Squeeze because we love electronic dance music. Writing passionately about our favorite music and discovering new artists is something very appealing to us.  In many ways, this blog is our creative expression. Our hard work has paid off so far and hopefully we can continue to provide you with our services for a very long time.

Julian Ragland (Teszero) - Orginally from Montgomery County Maryland, graduated from The Blue Ridge School in St. George, Virginia and is currently a sophomore at the University of Maryland. He first got into electronic music through Major Lazer and just went on from there. Loves Moombaton you can follow him on twitter @teszero.

Mar- A fan of worldlier sounds, Mar is an NYU student who’s passion for music is undeniable.  Her tastes give our blog a whole new layer and tremendous versatility.  Watch out for her work as her posts are some of our best.

Fuad-  Growing up in MoCo, Fuad first became aware of electronic music in high school through a friend who played it while performing glow poi. Since then he has been hooked to the beats of house, progressive and electronica. This is his way of giving back to the community he has come to love.

Regi
-   after trying (and failing) to sneak into yet another concert, Regi finally decided to clean up her wayfaring ways and get proper tickets to things. But how? By paying for them? What is this “money” you speak of? Enter The Electric Squeeze which offers certains perks in exchange for the labor and sweat associated with blogging. And all were happy.

David Peeler -  My interest/taste has moved from the now all-popular electro house to classic chicago house / UK bass (future garage / funky) style, usually favoring minimalism over flamboyancy and tight grooves over swirly effects. The music I post won’t necessarily be the newest straight bangers but should reflect some digging for gems from the 90′s with dips into 60′s funk&soul and 70′s disco. I spend too much time looking for music during the week so I’m happy to have an outlet that has such passionate people in its fold.
